Get away, have fun and take your training & connections to an exciting level!

We enjoyed our exciting first international Rejoov running retreat at Thanyapura Sports resort in Phuket in May 2016. 28 of us (including 6 kids) enjoyed a wonderful combination of warm rain, sunshine, exercise and rest plus a great opportunity to socialise, eat great food and knock back the occasional beer, wine or cocktail. Read Chris Truscott's blog about the experience: http://runnerct.blogspot.com.au/2016/06/thanyapura-training-thailand.html

In November 2016 we had a fabulous fun weekend camp at the Entrance on the Central Coast tying in the local Park Run, Central Coast half marathon/10k, swimming, BBQs and other activities. Many families were involved & "celebrity heads", kids races around the park & the town pelican feeding show were just 3 of the hits!

In April - Easter 2017 we had a most remarkable 4 day trip to The Red Centre with an evening at the Earth Sanctuary, swim in the Ellery Big Hole in Western MacDonnell Ranges, The Telegraph Station and run along the Larapinta Trail, Kings Canyon, Kings Creek Station glamping, helicopter rides, quad biking, Ayers Rock, The Olgas just to name a few start attractions and experiences.

In July 2017 we had our Rejoov winter weekend retreat celebrating Yulefest at the award winning Fairmont Resort in the Blue Mountains. This weekend was set up for a fantastic combination of relaxation, cuisine and great running, strength and cross training. We had 30 adults & 14 kids so it was an action packed weekend! The hotel boasted an indoor heated lap pool, gym, kids play centre (with our organised babysitters) plus sensational views from the restaurant and lounge bar as we warmed ourselves by the fire with a glass of hot gluwein.

Everyone is now asking WHAT’s NEXT?

The next 2 camps we have planned:

1)      The Blue Mountains NSW: Rejoov Runners will be hosting the official 6ft Track training camp over the weekend of 20-21st January 2018 (with the event itself scheduled for 10th March 2018). This camp is open to all runners from all clubs. For the camp you will be staying overnight in the very iconic Jenolan Caves House in shared or private accommodation, with buffet dinner and lunch included. You will gain access to most of the trail itself via our planned training run on Saturday and long run Sunday and you will be provided with invaluable advice and practical sessions around core strength, stretching, nutrition and generally what to expect on the big day. Click on this link for details on Facebook:  Six Foot Track's Camp hosted by Rejoov

2)      Larapinta Trail Running Experience with Rejoov: Easter 2018: Thurs 29th March – Tues 3rd April. Our next Red Centre Running Camp takes place over Easter 2018, along the spectacular Larapinta Trail for anyone who wants to challenge themselves AND experience one of Australia's most spectacular trails. The Larapinta Trail goes from the Telegraph Station in Alice Springs to Mt. Sonder (West MacDonnell Ranges). The trail is 223km in its entirety, however, there will be  various distances covered with an option for the whole distance if you wish.
